Warehouse Assistant / Forklift Driver

About This Role

The Warehouse Assistant / Forklift Driver is responsible for the orderly storage of raw materials and finished goods, supplying production areas, and preparing goods for shipment. This role is crucial for maintaining efficient warehouse operations and ensuring product readiness for delivery.

Responsibilities

• Unload raw materials and ensure safe, efficient storage, including accurate record-keeping
• Fulfill raw material needs for production areas by transporting and recording material transfers
• Transport finished goods to the warehouse, record accurate counts and types, and store them effectively
• Assemble orders for shipment, record product flow, prepare shipping documentation, and load for shipment
• Follow good manufacturing practices to ensure product safety

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Understanding and application of RFID scanning systems
• Ability to safely operate all warehouse mobile equipment
• Previous work with records containing numerical detail
• Proficient in English

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years production experience in a warehouse and manufacturing environment

Nice to Have

• Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
