This role will build and lead the global treasury function for Solstice Advanced Materials, a newly independent public company. The Vice President and Treasurer will be critical in establishing the company’s capital structure, liquidity strategy, risk management framework, and treasury infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Manage global long-term and short-term debt portfolios, bank credit facilities, and cash investments
- Lead global cash flow forecasting processes and ensure covenant compliance
- Ensure appropriate funding and oversight of pension and benefit plans
- Analyze geopolitical and macroeconomic trends and design hedging strategies
- Ensure appropriate insurance coverage across D&O, casualty, liability, property, environmental, and other risk areas
- Recommend and implement an optimal capital structure aligned with business strategy
- Ensure appropriate capitalization of global legal entities and lead cash repatriation efforts
- Recommend and execute dividend and share repurchase policies
- Lead treasury diligence, structuring, financing, and integration for M&A and strategic transactions
- Maintain strong relationships with banking partners, bondholders, credit investors, and rating agencies
- Lead the design and implementation of treasury and payments infrastructure
- Oversee banking platforms, ERP integrations, and treasury management systems
- Build strong partnerships with business units and corporate functions
- Develop and maintain strong compliance policies and internal controls
- Lead, develop, and mentor a global treasury team and foster a high-performance culture
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in a global multinational treasury or banking environment
- Strong background in leveraged finance, project finance, debt capital markets, credit underwriting, or adjacent disciplines
- Proven ability to lead complex financing transactions and manage competing priorities
- Advanced technical knowledge of financial instruments and treasury applications
- Strong familiarity with legal, tax, and accounting considerations related to treasury activities
- Experience negotiating merger agreements, leveraged loan documentation, and high-yield bond offerings
- Ability to define and execute a modern treasury and payments technology roadmap
- Good standing with relevant regulatory agencies (e.g., FINRA, SEC, CFTC, Federal Reserve)
- Demonstrated success leading diverse, global teams and developing talent
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in a global multinational treasury or banking environment
Nice to Have
- MBA, Master’s degree, CFA, or formal credit training preferred
- High intellectual curiosity and interest in geopolitical, macroeconomic, and technological trends
- Strong emotional intelligence and executive presence
- Ability to balance delegation with hands-on leadership when required
- Comfort operating under pressure in fast-moving, high-stakes environments
