This Vice President of Signage role provides strategic and operational leadership for the entire Signage Division, overseeing design, production, fabrication, installation, and project management. The VP will drive profitability, ensure operational excellence, and deliver exceptional customer satisfaction through leadership, process optimization, and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic plans for growth, quality, and profitability within the signage division
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of directors, managers, and supervisors across design, production, installation, and sales
- Identify and implement new technologies, materials, and methods for the signage industry
- Oversee day-to-day operations ensuring production efficiency, quality standards, and on-time delivery
- Manage department budgets, forecasting, and P&L performance
- Optimize workflow, resource allocation, and process efficiency across departments
- Partner with sales and marketing to develop new business opportunities and strengthen client relationships
- Support major project bids and presentations with competitive and accurate proposals
- Establish and monitor performance metrics across operations, including production throughput, installation timelines, and quality benchmarks
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, improve margins, and enhance quality
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, management, industrial design, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in signage, fabrication, or construction-related industries
- 5+ years in a senior management role
- Proven success leading large-scale production and installation teams
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data and drive profitability
- Expertise in signage materials, fabrication methods, and installation processes
- Proficient in project management and workflow optimization
- Customer-focused mindset with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, management, industrial design, or related field (master’s preferred)
- Minimum 10 years of experience in signage, fabrication, or construction-related industries, with at least 5 years in a senior management role
