This role involves welcoming and assisting visitors, managing ticketing and membership sales, and providing information about exhibits and events at a children's museum. The associate will ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all visitors.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist visitors at the front desk
- Handle ticket and membership sales
- Answer inquiries in person or over the phone
- Provide information about exhibits, programs, and events
- Ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for visitors
- Assist with basic administrative and operational duties as needed
Requirements
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to interact positively and professionally with visitors of all ages and backgrounds
- Basic cash handling skills
- Ticketing skills
- Data entry skills with attention to accuracy and detail
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to provide clear information and respond to inquiries
- Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment
- Ability to solve problems promptly and efficiently
Qualifications
- Experience in a front-facing role, such as retail or guest services, is preferred but not required.
