Requirements
- Master of Social Work (MSW) from a CSWE accredited institution
- Two (2) years post-MSW social work practitioner experience in the field of social work
- One (1) year teaching experience in social work education full-time or part-time in asynchronous programs
Qualifications
- Master of Social Work (MSW) from a CSWE accredited institution
- 2+ years post-MSW social work practitioner experience and 1+ year teaching experience in social work education (full-time or part-time in asynchronous programs)
Nice to Have
- Doctoral degree in Social Work
- Two (2) or more years of experience in social work education, teaching asynchronously
- Experience with online learning management systems, education platforms and technologies
- Clinical social work licensure or eligibility for licensure
- Practice experience within Medical/hospital social work, Aging, palliative care, rehabilitation, Community health, Community mental health, Behavioral health and integrated systems, Healthcare evaluation and management, Policy and advocacy work
- Demonstrated experience in online curriculum development and instructional design
- Experience in academic advising and student support services
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proven knowledge of accreditation standards and processes for social work programs
- Experience with online pedagogy and tools
- Strong knowledge, skills and experience in working with diverse students and client/patient populations
- Experience and sensitivity in working with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures
- Demonstrated experience in advancing social justice, equity, and inclusion in a university setting
- Ability to engage and integrate culturally responsive practices and knowledge in their work
- Strong knowledge and understanding of CSWE required competency-based learning
