This role involves teaching social work education in online asynchronous programs, contributing to curriculum development, and providing academic advising, aiming to prepare students for impactful social work practice.

Requirements

• Master of Social Work (MSW) from a CSWE accredited institution
• Two (2) years post-MSW social work practitioner experience in the field of social work
• One (1) year teaching experience in social work education full-time or part-time in asynchronous programs

Qualifications

• Master of Social Work (MSW) from a CSWE accredited institution
• 2+ years post-MSW social work practitioner experience and 1+ year teaching experience in social work education (full-time or part-time in asynchronous programs)

Nice to Have

• Doctoral degree in Social Work
• Two (2) or more years of experience in social work education, teaching asynchronously
• Experience with online learning management systems, education platforms and technologies
• Clinical social work licensure or eligibility for licensure
• Practice experience within Medical/hospital social work, Aging, palliative care, rehabilitation, Community health, Community mental health, Behavioral health and integrated systems, Healthcare evaluation and management, Policy and advocacy work
• Demonstrated experience in online curriculum development and instructional design
• Experience in academic advising and student support services
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proven knowledge of accreditation standards and processes for social work programs
• Experience with online pedagogy and tools
• Strong knowledge, skills and experience in working with diverse students and client/patient populations
• Experience and sensitivity in working with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures
• Demonstrated experience in advancing social justice, equity, and inclusion in a university setting
• Ability to engage and integrate culturally responsive practices and knowledge in their work
• Strong knowledge and understanding of CSWE required competency-based learning
