Virtual Adult Primary Clinical Therapist

About This Role

This role is for a Primary Therapist who will work with patients to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, conducting individual therapy meetings, collaborating with outpatient teams, and leading overall treatment programs. The therapist will partner with multidisciplinary treatment teams to provide comprehensive and compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Complete initial intake evaluations to determine diagnosis and appropriateness for program
• Utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), as well as other evidenced-based therapies
• Oversee initial and continuing insurance needs of patients
• Meet with patients individually to assess progress and guide treatment planning
• Coordinate care with patient's individual providers to ensure continuity of care
• Assess patient's progress and need for higher level of care or discharge
• Communicate with patient's family members or support system when indicated
• Chart in electronic medical records system
• Engage in crisis management
• Provide group therapy, as needed

Requirements

• Psychologist or Master’s level therapist with clinical experience conducting intakes, individual therapy, and group therapy
• Knowledge and experience of group dynamics utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), as well as other evidenced-based therapies
• Experience with patients in crisis
• Prior experience working in partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, inpatient hospital, or residential setting

Qualifications

• Master’s level therapist or Psychologist
• Clinical experience conducting intakes, individual therapy, and group therapy. Experience with patients in crisis. Prior experience working in partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, inpatient hospital, or residential setting.
