Videography Intern

About This Role

This Videography Intern position will assist the video team and marketing department in producing creative, high-quality video and audio materials for Ameritas, helping to tell stories and deliver information to both internal and external audiences.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the production of creative, high-quality video and audio materials, including live action videos, animations, and occasional photography
• Collaborate with video, creative, and marketing team members on project vision and approach, including ideation, concepting, and storyboarding
• Record projects using a wide variety of camera, audio, lighting, and studio equipment
• Edit captured video materials and create animation to produce finished content
• Archive and audit video assets for organization and efficiency

Requirements

• Enrolled in a college program, at least part-time, for the entire course of the internship
• Able to commit to a 12-month internship
• Previous videography experience
• Experience using and carefully handling video and photographic equipment
• Experience using video and animation software, such as the Adobe Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Audition) or similar families of software
• Ability to learn and use technology, including video recording equipment and software

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a college program, at least part-time, for the entire course of the internship, preferably studying broadcast media, digital media, video production, advertising/public relations, and/or marketing.
• Previous videography experience.
