The Verifications Specialist at InformData plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy of information provided by candidates on employment and leasing applications. This role involves validating candidate details by contacting various institutions and contributes to data integrity for clients.
Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound calls to academic institutions, employers, military organizations, and professional references to verify candidate information
- Maintain professionalism on calls and in all internal and external communications
- Maintain and improve quality of results by adhering to standards and guidelines
- Handle escalated cases with academic institutions and employers to verify candidate information
Requirements
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional active listening skills with ability to capture what is being stated accurately
- Ability to navigate through multiple computer applications with speed and accuracy
- Persistency, ability to probe effectively
- Ability to quickly and accurately document information
- Excellent judgement with ability to report accurate content
- Ability to problem solve complex issues and use analytical skills
- Ability to maintain a high level of organization
- Ability to multitask and follow assignments to completion with high attention to detail
- Adaptable
- Team oriented
- Ability to type 40 WPM or more
- Solid accuracy of grammar and spelling
- High School diploma or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in data collection and computer applications
- Previous data entry experience
