Venipuncture/Biometric Screener Wellness Worker

About This Role

Provide essential venipuncture and biometric screening services at wellness events for Labcorp, ensuring accurate data capture and exceptional customer service. This role involves performing blood draws, biometric screenings, and COVID-19 testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture blood draws
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Conduct participant biometric screenings including blood pressure and body fat analysis
• Ensure participant information and all screening results are accurately captured
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain participant privacy
• Perform COVID-19 PCR testing, antigen testing, and temperature checks
• Execute successful setup, execution, and breakdown of events

Requirements

• Medical credentials required (CPT, RN, LPN, etc.) for venipuncture role
• Minimum of 1-year experience performing venipuncture blood draws
• Minimum of 100 successful blood draws in the last 6 months required
• Proficient taking blood pressure
• Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic tablet and computer skills
• Reliable form of transportation
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Must be at least 18 or older
• Minimum of 1-year experience working in a healthcare setting (for Biometric Screener role)
• Proficient with performing fingerstick blood collection

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-year experience performing venipuncture blood draws or working in a healthcare setting

Nice to Have

• Medical credentials strongly preferred (CNA, MA, Phlebotomist, RN, LPN, etc.) for Biometric Screener role
• Experience with Cholestech LDX
