Venipuncture/Biometric Screener Wellness Worker

About This Role

This role involves providing essential biometric testing and wellness services at various events. You will perform venipuncture blood draws, conduct screenings, and ensure participant privacy while maintaining excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture blood draws
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Conduct participant biometric screenings including blood pressure and body fat analysis
• Perform COVID-19 PCR testing, COVID-19 point of care antigen testing, and temperature checks
• Ensure participant information and all screening results are accurately captured
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain participant privacy at all times
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Set up, execute, and break down events

Requirements

• Medical credentials required (CPT, RN, LPN, etc.) for Venipuncture role
• Minimum of 1-year experience performing venipuncture blood draws
• Minimum of 100 successful blood draws in the last 6 months
• Proficient taking blood pressure
• Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA
• Excellent customer service skills
• Basic tablet and computer skills
• Reliable form of transportation
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Must be at least 18 or older
• Medical certification or license required in some states for Biometric Screener role
• Minimum of 1-year experience working in a healthcare setting
• Proficient with performing fingerstick blood collection and taking blood pressure

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-year experience performing venipuncture blood draws or working in a healthcare setting
