Venipuncture/Biometric Screener Wellness Worker

About This Role

This role involves providing essential biometric testing services at various events, ensuring accurate data capture and exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include performing venipuncture blood draws or fingerstick blood collection, as well as conducting other biometric screenings and COVID-19 testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture blood draws and prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Conduct participant biometric screenings including blood pressure, body mass index (BMI), body fat analysis, and fingerstick blood collection
• Perform COVID-19 PCR testing, COVID-19 point of care antigen testing, and temperature checks
• Ensure participant information and all screening results are accurately captured
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain participant privacy at all times
• Handle administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Set up, execute, and break down events efficiently

Requirements

• Medical credentials required (CPT, RN, LPN, etc.) for Venipuncture role
• Minimum of 1-year experience performing venipuncture blood draws (for Venipuncture role)
• Minimum of 100 successful blood draws in the last 6 months (for Venipuncture role)
• Proficient taking blood pressure
• Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic tablet and computer skills
• Reliable form of transportation
• Willing and able to pass a criminal background check
• Must be at least 18 or older
• Minimum of 1-year experience working in a healthcare setting (for Biometric Screener role)
• Proficient with performing fingerstick blood collection and taking blood pressure (for Biometric Screener role)

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-year experience performing venipuncture blood draws OR 1-year experience working in a healthcare setting

• Experience with Cholestech LDX
