Venipuncture/Biometric Screener Wellness Worker

About This Role

Provide venipuncture and biometric screening services at various events for Labcorp, focusing on accurate testing, data capture, and exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture blood draws and prepare collected specimens for testing
• Conduct participant biometric screenings including blood pressure, body fat analysis, BMI, and fingerstick blood collection
• Perform COVID-19 PCR testing, antigen testing, and temperature checks
• Ensure accurate capture of participant information and screening results
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain participant privacy
• Perform successful setup, execution, and breakdown of events
• Conduct administrative and clerical duties as necessary

Requirements

• Medical credentials (CPT, RN, LPN, etc.) for venipuncture
• Minimum 1 year experience performing venipuncture blood draws
• Minimum 100 successful blood draws in the last 6 months
• Proficient taking blood pressure
• Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic tablet and computer skills
• Reliable form of transportation
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Must be at least 18 or older
• Medical credentials strongly preferred (CNA, MA, Phlebotomist, RN, LPN, etc.) for biometric screener
• Minimum 1 year experience working in a healthcare setting
• Proficient with performing fingerstick blood collection

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-year experience performing venipuncture blood draws AND minimum of 100 successful blood draws in the last 6 months OR minimum of 1-year experience working in a healthcare setting
