Vascular Ultrasonographer

About This Role

Perform non-invasive diagnostic vascular imaging procedures using ultrasound technology to assist physicians in diagnosing and managing vascular conditions while ensuring patient comfort, safety, and accurate image acquisition.

Responsibilities

• Performs vascular ultrasound examinations using approved protocols to capture high-quality diagnostic images of arteries, veins, and other vascular structures
• Obtains relevant clinical history from patient interviews, physician orders, or medical records to support accurate diagnostic imaging
• Reviews and correlates prior imaging studies and patient history to optimize exam quality and relevance
• Documents and records all pertinent anatomical and pathological findings in accordance with physician and department standards
• Presents clinical findings and preliminary impressions to the interpreting physician to support diagnostic decisions
• Maintains and operates ultrasound equipment, ensuring functionality, cleanliness, and readiness in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and safety protocols
• Maintains a safe and infection-controlled environment, applying proper procedures in accordance with hospital policy

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience performing vascular ultrasound procedures preferred
