This role is for a Service Porter to join the Mercedes-Benz of San Diego dealership team, focused on delivering extraordinary customer service experiences by professionally greeting and connecting customers with the dealership team.
Responsibilities
- Professionally and courteously greet customers
- Help connect customers by phone or in person with the dealership team
- Assist customers and vendors to find the support they're looking for
- Route customers promptly to the appropriate team member
- Connect with customers about their vehicle questions in a professional manner
- Support the dealership sales and service team during events and rush hours
- Manage telephone switchboards to handle customer calls
- Enter basic customer demographic information into the sales control system
Requirements
- Genuine interest in providing an exceptional customer service experience
- Friendliness, enthusiasm, reliability, with a positive "team-player" attitude
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
- Ability to provide prompt assistance to customers with courtesy, accuracy, and professionalism
- Valid driver's license
- Good driving record
