Utility Pole Inspection Foreman

About This Role

Supervise a field crew for utility pole inspection, ensuring safety, quality, and production goals are met while maintaining equipment and collecting field data. This role offers rapid advancement from an apprentice to a foreman.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, and supervise a field crew of 1-5 people
• Maintain all tools, vehicles, and equipment
• Achieve expected safety, quality, and production goals
• Collect field data and maintain daily and weekly reports
• Assume full responsibility for the safe operation and maintenance of a company vehicle, equipment, and tools
• Positively represent the Osmose organization to customers and the communities in which they work

Requirements

• At least 19 years old
• High school diploma or GED
• Possess leadership qualities to effectively supervise and motivate a working field crew
• Enjoy working outdoors in all types of weather
• Desire to actively participate in physically demanding work lifting or moving up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
• Willing to travel locally, statewide or regionally as required

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Entry-level position with on-the-job training to become a foreman in approximately 6 weeks.
