Supervise a field crew for utility pole inspection, ensuring safety, quality, and production goals are met while maintaining equipment and collecting field data. This role offers rapid advancement from an apprentice to a foreman.
Responsibilities
- Hire, train, and supervise a field crew of 1-5 people
- Maintain all tools, vehicles, and equipment
- Achieve expected safety, quality, and production goals
- Collect field data and maintain daily and weekly reports
- Assume full responsibility for the safe operation and maintenance of a company vehicle, equipment, and tools
- Positively represent the Osmose organization to customers and the communities in which they work
Requirements
- At least 19 years old
- High school diploma or GED
- Possess leadership qualities to effectively supervise and motivate a working field crew
- Enjoy working outdoors in all types of weather
- Desire to actively participate in physically demanding work lifting or moving up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
- Willing to travel locally, statewide or regionally as required
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Entry-level position with on-the-job training to become a foreman in approximately 6 weeks.
