Perform general labor tasks and support plant operations for a building materials supplier. Assist with equipment maintenance, operate mobile equipment, and ensure continuous plant operation.
Responsibilities
- Perform general labor tasks including shoveling, sweeping, and material handling to support plant operations
- Assist with equipment maintenance and inspections to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Operate mobile equipment such as skid steers, loaders, and forklifts as needed
- Monitor and report any safety or operational issues to supervisors
- Support production teams with tasks that ensure continuous plant operation
Requirements
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and teamwork
- Ability to operate or learn to operate mobile and plant equipment
- Willingness to work in a physically demanding and outdoor environment
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Capability to follow instructions and adapt to changing priorities
