This Utility position is responsible for cleaning and maintaining equipment, handling processing materials, and training to become a Material Handler for a cooperative processing soybeans, grains, and related products.
Responsibilities
- Clean equipment, tank farms and outside work areas
- Handle any processing materials and supplies required of the operation
- Keep all areas free of water and trash
- Train to perform the Material Handler position
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check, physical and drug screen
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Ability to speak, read, and write English
- Capable of physical labor (standing, walking, bending, pulling, lifting, stairs, etc.)
- Organizational skills to prioritize and handle multiple work assignments
- Ability to understand manufacturing standards and specifications (math skills helpful)
- Ability to follow all safety rules and policy
- Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and overtime (Peak periods)
