Truck Driver - Local Class B

About This Role

This role involves performing multi-stop deliveries of automotive parts and supplies to dealerships, ensuring safe and timely transportation. Truck drivers will operate late-model, Penske-maintained trucks and handle unloading using manual equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships
• Unload trailer using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages
• Use scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered
• Adhere to all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Accept responsibility for own safety, as well as the safety of others

Requirements

• Valid Class B CDL with Airbrake endorsement
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
• 1 year of documented relevant commercial vehicle driving experience in the last 5 years
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• English language proficiency
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs/23kg and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs/45kg

Qualifications

• 1 year of documented relevant commercial vehicle driving experience in the last 5 years
