Manage low voltage cabling projects, ensuring development, implementation, installation, and management align with company requirements for safety, quality, and financial performance. Oversee staffing, materials, and finances while maintaining customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, hire, train, manage, supervise, promote, discipline, and discharge project-related staff as needed
- Effectively manage all human resource issues per Company policies and procedures
- Manage workload distribution and monitor customer delivery and job installation progress
- Plan for, manage, monitor, and maintain project profitability to achieve Company goals
- Review all job cost postings for accuracy and completeness, including invoices and financial reporting
- Manage all related quality and safety issues on customer work
- Participate in and/or facilitate the bid process
- Act as the Company liaison for interface with customer representatives
- Create, develop, and implement account process improvements
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED equivalency
- Experience in customer interface (liaison between customer and Company)
- 5+ years of supervisory or managerial experience
- 5+ years of experience in telecommunications or a related technical or construction field
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and MS Project)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
- Demonstrated ability to define a project, create a project scope of work, develop detailed associated tasks and manage to completion
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalency; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Minimum of five (5) years of supervisory or managerial experience and five (5) years of experience in telecommunications or related technical/construction field.
