Travel Universal Banker

About This Role

Serve as a Travel Universal Banker, responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences by handling teller and platform responsibilities across various branch locations. This role involves assisting with everyday transactions, resolving customer issues, and providing financial wellness solutions through needs-based conversations.

Responsibilities

• Travel daily to branches within a specific market area (up to 100% travel)
• Maintain extensive knowledge of retail bank products and services
• Strengthen existing customer relationships and develop new relationships by understanding customer needs
• Promote, explain, open, and renew financial institution services (e.g., consumer loans, IRAs, CDs, safe deposit boxes)
• Drive proactive needs-based sales conversations through interactions and appointment setting
• Assist customers financially by delivering loan products, ensuring packages are correct and complete
• Perform transactions of a paying and receiving teller (e.g., deposits, withdrawals, cashing checks)
• Daily balancing of cash drawer
• Educate customers on options for managing transactions using technology and available tools
• Apply product and service knowledge to effectively solve customer problems
• Assist other staff in serving customers, answering telephones, and performing other duties as necessary

Requirements

• NMLS license
• Minimum 3 years of retail sales experience
• 1+ years of experience working in a financial institution
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and accommodate travel
• Knowledge of consumer credit structuring and lending practices
• Demonstrated analytical, accuracy and problem-solving skills
• Strong verbal and written interpersonal communication skills
• Experience with using and demonstrating digital products and self-service technologies

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of retail sales experience; 1+ years of experience working in a financial institution
