About This Role

This RRT position involves providing respiratory and neuro diagnostic care in an acute care hospital setting in Providence, RI. The role focuses on adult critical care, emergency department procedures, and managing various respiratory therapies and equipment.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience
• BLS certification
• CRT certification
• Skills in Adult Critical Care, Emergency Department, Direct Intubation, Extubation, Nasal airway placement, Nasal airway suctioning, Oral airway placement, Oral/nasal Suctioning, Sputum specimen collection, Tracheostomy care/management
• Proficient with Albuterol, Atrovent, Combivent, Flovent, Inhaled steroids, Isuprel, Lidocaine, Perforomist, Pulmicort, Racemic epinephrine, Spiriva, Terbutaline Sulfate, Tobramycin, Xopenex
• Experience with Aerosol set up mask, Aerosol set up trach, Medihaler, Metered Dose Inhaler (MDI), Hand held, T-piece, Trach collar, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), BiPAP, CPAP
• Troubleshooting high pressure alarms, Weaning from mechanical ventilation, Pulmonary Hygiene
