ECU Health is seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse specializing in Neurology for internal travel opportunities within the Neuro ICU and Neuro Intermediate units at their Level I Trauma Center in Greenville, NC. This role focuses on providing specialized care for patients with critical neurological issues.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients requiring care for stroke, subarachnoid hemorrhage, seizure, guillain barre, myasthenia gravis, and other critical neurological issues in Neuro ICU and Neuro Intermediate units.
- Adhere to staffing ratios of 1:2 RN-to-Patient in critical care and 1:4 RN-to-Patient in intermediate care.
- Work 12-hour shifts for 36 hours per week.
- Complete a 13-week travel nursing assignment.
- Maintain patient safety and quality of care in a Level I Trauma Center setting.
Requirements
- Diploma in Nursing, Associates in Nursing or higher
- Greater than 1 year of nursing experience
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification
Qualifications
- Diploma in Nursing, Associates in Nursing or higher.
- Greater than 1 year of nursing experience is required
Nice to Have
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
