About This Role

Take medical images of patients for diagnostic purposes in a hospital or other healthcare facility. Operate X-ray technology, process films, and manage patient records.

Responsibilities

  • Take medical images of patients for diagnostic purposes
  • Prepare patients for X-rays
  • Operate X-ray technology
  • Process films for radiologists and physicians
  • Handle patient records
  • Potentially use other radiologic equipment such as CTs and MRIs

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of recent experience as an x-ray technologist
  • ARRT Certification
  • BLS Certification (AHA)
  • Current state license (if applicable)

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of recent experience as an X-ray technologist
