About This Role

NuWest Travel Nursing is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Ekalaka, MT, focusing on patient care and rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

Instruct, motivate, safeguard and assist patients practicing exercises and functional activities
Monitor vital signs and maintain an adequate knowledge base regarding cardiovascular and respiratory precautions for patients
Observe patients during treatment to compile and evaluate data on their responses and progress
Report patient data to staff Physical Therapist
Utilize basic awareness of physical medicine, physical therapy modalities, anatomy and physiology
Operate, maintain, and repair physical therapy machines

Requirements

2+ Years specialty experience
BLS certification
Basic awareness of physical medicine, physical therapy modalities, anatomy and physiology
Basic knowledge of physical therapy machine operation, maintenance and repairs

Qualifications
