Travel Physical Therapist

About This Role

NuWest Travel Nursing is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Ekalaka, MT, focusing on patient care and rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

• Instruct, motivate, safeguard and assist patients practicing exercises and functional activities
• Monitor vital signs and maintain an adequate knowledge base regarding cardiovascular and respiratory precautions for patients
• Observe patients during treatment to compile and evaluate data on their responses and progress
• Report patient data to staff Physical Therapist
• Utilize basic awareness of physical medicine, physical therapy modalities, anatomy and physiology
• Operate, maintain, and repair physical therapy machines

Requirements

• 2+ Years specialty experience
• BLS certification
• Basic awareness of physical medicine, physical therapy modalities, anatomy and physiology
• Basic knowledge of physical therapy machine operation, maintenance and repairs

Qualifications
