Travel Physical Therapist

About This Role

This role is for a travel Physical Therapist to provide rehabilitation services to patients in an outpatient clinic. The Physical Therapist will assess patients, administer treatment programs, and educate patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to assess medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations, and potential for rehabilitation
• Establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals
• Set realistic and achievable goals for patients
• Document and record the patient's condition
• Educate patients and families in appropriate physical therapy methods
• Develop a plan of care for each patient
• Provide skilled physical therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders
• Assess patient needs, plan for, evaluate, and modify care to meet goals of physical therapy interventions
• Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient

Requirements

• Graduated from an accredited school
• Current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist / PT or proactively in the process of the application
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to develop a plan of care for each physical therapy patient
• Ability to provide skilled physical therapy services / interventions in accordance with physician orders
• Ability to assess patient needs, plan for, evaluate and modify care to meet goals of physical therapy interventions
• Ability to collaborate with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school
• Experienced or newly graduated Physical Therapist
