About This Role

Join a collaborative surgical team as an Operating Room RN at Boone County Health Center in Albion, Nebraska, handling diverse surgical cases including OB and ortho.

Responsibilities

Join a collaborative surgical team at Boone County Health Center
Perform skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse duties in diverse surgical cases, including OB and ortho
Assist in Pre-op/PACU as needed
Participate in holiday and call rotations (1x/week + every 2nd–3rd weekend)

Requirements

Active NE or Compact RN License
2+ years recent OR experience
BLS certification
ACLS certification
PALS certification
Experience with OB, C-Section, Colonoscopy/EGD, and Ortho
Completed at least one prior travel assignment
Willingness to assist in Pre-op/PACU as needed
Flexibility for holiday and call rotations

Qualifications

2+ years recent OR experience

Nice to Have

Pre-op / PACU experience
Cerner EMR familiarity
Ortho experience using a HANA bed
Background in critical access hospitals
