Travel Operating Room RN

About This Role

Serve as a Travel Operating Room RN for a 13-week assignment in Glen Ridge, New Jersey, providing patient care for 40 hours per week on day shifts in various surgical specialties.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the Operating Room
• Utilize EPIC for documentation
• Assist in bariatrics, abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, carotid endarterectomy, laparoscopic-assisted cases, lobe resection, thoracotomy, VATS, radical neck dissection, tonsillectomy, bronchoscopy, colonoscopy, EGD, Peg tube placement
• Perform scrub duties for endoscopic surgery, cholecystectomy, colon resection, Whipple, abdominal/vaginal hysterectomy, bilateral tubal ligation
• Assist in anterior cervical fusion, craniotomy, laminectomy, lumbar fusion, cataract extraction, eye trauma, glaucoma surgery, open reduction of fractures, spinal fusion, total joint replacement
• Participate in abdominoplasty, breast augmentation, mastectomy, ankle fusion, bunionectomy, robotic surgery, and urology procedures

Requirements

• 1 year experience in General OR
• EPIC documentation skills
• BLS Certification

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience required in General OR

Nice to Have

• ACLS Certification
