Travel Operating Room RN

About This Role

Provide high-quality, patient-centered perioperative care as a Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse. Support surgical teams in a fast-paced clinical environment while demonstrating strong clinical judgment and collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver perioperative nursing care utilizing the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient outcomes
• Function as a clinical leader while safely delegating and supporting licensed and ancillary staff
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal surgical outcomes
• Assess patient and family learning needs and provide appropriate education
• Utilize data and evidence-based practice to promote quality improvement and positive patient outcomes
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, accreditation standards, and facility policies
• Promote patient safety, customer satisfaction, and professional nursing standards
• Adhere to the organization's Compliance & Privacy Program and Standards of Conduct including timely reporting of safety, privacy, or ethical concerns

Requirements

• 2+ years of recent Operating Room experience
• Experience or training in DaVinci Robotics, MAKO Robotics, Neuro / Spine, Orthopedics, General Surgery, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, ENT, Podiatry, Vascular, or Plastics

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse Diploma
• Minimum of 2+ years of recent Operating Room experience

Nice to Have

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Specialty certification related to perioperative nursing

Certifications
