About This Role

Provide direct patient care as an ICU Registered Nurse, managing complex cases including stroke, trauma, and critical care patients, within a fast-paced medical-surgical ICU environment.

Responsibilities

Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Provide care for stroke patients, cerebral monitoring and drains, ventilators, drips, chest tubes, spinal drains, and some CRRT patients
Handle trauma cases including logging, motorcycle, and snowmobile accidents based on seasonal variations
Float to all inpatient units as needed, typically to critical higher acuity units
Work independently and complete tasks in a timely manner
Complete every other weekend and holiday rotation

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of MedSurg and ICU experience
Strong Neuro experience
Must be outside 50-mile radius of facility

Qualifications

Associate degree or certificate required, Bachelor's degree preferred
Minimum 2 years of MedSurg and ICU experience with strong Neuro experience required

Nice to Have

CCRN certification
EPIC charting experience
