Provide emergency care for patients experiencing various illnesses or trauma, requiring decisive action and a comprehensive understanding of medical conditions to stabilize and treat life-threatening situations.
Responsibilities
- Assess, intervene, and stabilize a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action
- Recognize and effectively treat life-threatening conditions
- Understand triage to prioritize injuries based on medical need
- Make quick and accurate assessments about incoming patients, including both physical and mental health conditions
Requirements
- Active RN License
- Degree from accredited nursing program
- Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting
