Travel Nurse RN - ED - Emergency Department

About This Role

Provide specialized nursing care in the Emergency Department, assessing and stabilizing patients with various illnesses and trauma. This is a travel nurse assignment for a duration of 13 weeks with 36 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients with various illnesses or trauma requiring emergency attention
• Recognize and effectively treat life-threatening conditions
• Assess, intervene, and stabilize a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action
• Be knowledgeable about general as well as specific health issues
• Properly understand triage in order to prioritize injuries based on medical need
• Make quick and accurate assessments about incoming patients, including both physical and mental health conditions

Requirements

• Active RN License
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting
