About This Role

Assist the Patient Care Manager with clinical management and administrative coordination of a designated patient care unit(s) or service(s), promoting the achievement of unit goals and objectives. This role involves supervising patient care staff and operations for an assigned shift, ensuring consistent implementation of organizational policies and standards of care.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Patient Care Manager with clinical management and administrative coordination of designated patient care unit(s) or service(s)
• Support the Patient Care Manager in promoting the achievement of unit(s)' goals and objectives
• Act as a resource for the patient care unit(s) and a representative for the Patient Care Manager
• Supervise patient care staff and operations for an assigned shift for a patient care unit(s)
• Coordinate one or more administrative functions as assigned by the Patient Care Manager
• Ensure consistent implementation and monitoring of organizational policies and standards of care
• Provide consistent and timely information and feedback to the Patient Care Manager
• Maintain knowledge and application of all personnel policies and requirements of collective bargaining agreements
