Travel Medical Assistant

About This Role

This Medical Assistant role involves providing direct patient care, performing clinical tasks, and ensuring efficient clinic operations in an outpatient setting in Chicago, IL.

Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs and record patient history, medications, and allergies
• Perform vision testing, pulse oximetry, height/weight measurements
• Administer immunizations and nebulizer treatments
• Label specimens, perform urine UA/Clean Catch, and blood glucose tests via glucometer
• Conduct pregnancy tests and follow up phone calls
• Room patients, assist with suture removal and Pap Smears
• Process authorization forms and handle pharmacy calls/patient refill requests
• Administer TB tests

Requirements

• 1 Year of experience
• BLS Certification
• Adult Outpatient Clinic skills
• Height/Weight measurement
• Pulse Oximetry
• Vision testing
• Obtain Vital Signs
