Travel Labor and Delivery RN

About This Role

This role is for a Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse who will function as both a caregiver and care manager, implementing the Nursing Process and directing other healthcare providers. You will be responsible for providing patient care and overseeing others to ensure positive patient care outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Function as a caregiver, assuming responsibility for a group of patients for a designated time frame
• Implement the Nursing Process for patient care
• Direct and oversee the work of other caregivers (nurses and non-nurses) via delegation, coordination, supervision, and validation/evaluation of patient care outcomes
• Understand the purpose and operation of Patient Care Services
• Make decisions based on sound judgment when a situation dictates

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Specialty in Labor and Delivery
