Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist

About This Role

This role is for a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist to assist physicians with catheterization of the heart and other minimally invasive procedures. The technologist will work in an operating room, cardiac cath lab, or similar healthcare facility to prepare equipment, assist surgeons, and monitor patient vitals, caring for patients undergoing various procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist the physician with catheterization of the heart and other minimally invasive procedures
• Prepare equipment for procedures
• Assist surgeons during procedures
• Monitor patient vitals
• Help maintain sterile conditions during procedures
• Care for patients undergoing angioplasty, ablation, embolization, stenting, thrombolysis or biopsies

Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent acute care experience in interventional radiology
• ARRT Certification
• BLS Certification (AHA)
• Current state license

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of recent acute care experience in interventional radiology
