Join Aya Healthcare as an Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse in Tyler, TX, for a 13-week night shift assignment, providing specialized care for critically ill patients.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience
• Surgical Intensive Care Unit skills
• Interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Management of dysrhythmias
• IV insulin protocols
• Management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure
• PICC line management
• Starting and maintaining IVs
• GI surgery
• Arterial line management
• Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal
• Blood Product Administration
• Continuous IV sedation
• Suctioning (ETT, NT)
• Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs)
• Titrate Cardiac drips
• Titrate Vasoactive drips
• Chronic/Acute Renal failure
• Central line care/management
• Assist with management of CPAP
• Care of Ventilated Patient
• Ventilator Management
• Infection Prevention
• Assist with management of BiPAP
• Isolation Precautions/PPE
• High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC)
• Phlebotomy
• Surgical Wounds with drains/Wound Vac
• CVVHD/CRRT
• Hypothermia protocol/Arctic Sun
• TX License or Compact License
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
