Provide specialized intensive care to acutely and chronically ill surgical and medical patients in a fast-paced hospital environment. This travel nursing role offers flexibility and competitive compensation.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized care to acute and chronically ill surgical and medical patients ages 18 and older, and trauma patients ages 15 and older
- Manage patient assignments with 3:1 or 2:1 ratio (high acuity patients)
- Utilize Spacelab bedside cardiac monitoring, arterial lines, EVD, non-invasive ventilatory support (bipap, cpap, hfnc), and EKOS equipment
- Document patient care using Cerner Sorian system
- Work every other weekend shift
- Float to care areas with like-populations as needed
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Experience in ICU - Intensive Care Unit
- Large scale adult PCU experience
- Community hospital ICU experience
