This role is for a Travel Emergency Room Registered Nurse in Albany, NY, providing advanced care in a Level One Trauma Center. The position focuses on emergency department care, including adult emergency medicine, observation, and behavioral health.
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced emergency care in a Level One Trauma Center
- Work with first responders and air-medical crews to care for transported patients
- Manage adult observation patients and admissions in the ED
- Perform procedures including Neurosurgical interventions (EVD, SEPS drain), Procedural sedation, post-thrombectomy care
Requirements
- Active NY RN license
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- Ability to work with adult observation patients and admissions in ED
