Join Aya Healthcare as a Travel CVICU Registered Nurse in Fayetteville, NC, providing specialized care in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit. This role offers the opportunity to work 3 nights a week for a 13-week assignment.

Requirements

• 1 Year of experience
• NC License or Compact License
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) skills
• Surgical Intensive Care Unit skills
• Interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Management of dysrhythmias
• Management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure
• Thermoregulation: hypothermia/hyperthermia
• Central Venous Pressure Monitoring (CVP)
• IV insulin protocols
• Arterial line management
• Blood Product Administration
• Central line care/management
• PICC line management
• Starting and maintaining IVs
• Continuous IV paralytics/Neuromuscular blockade
• Continuous IV sedation
• Emergency Medications
• Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring
• Titrate Cardiac drips
• Titrate Vasoactive drips
• BiPAP/CPAP management/maintenance
• Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal
• Care of Ventilated Patient
• Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs)
• Suctioning (ETT, NT)
• Ventilator Management
• Infection Prevention
• Isolation Precautions/PPE
• Phlebotomy
