Perform a variety of Computed Tomography procedures and duties using prescribed levels of ionizing radiation for patients ranging from newborn to geriatric. Operate imaging equipment to produce quality diagnostic images and perform IV insertions and removals under the direction of qualified medical staff.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of Computed Tomography procedures and duties
- Operate imaging equipment to produce quality diagnostic images of specified body parts
- Insert and remove IV's
Requirements
- Graduated from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
- Minimum of 1-year Radiology experience
- Licensed by the State of Mass Radiation Control Board
- ARRT Registered - RT ( R) or RT (N)
- CPR certified
- If no CT License at time of hire, Technologist has one year to obtain CT License
Qualifications
- Graduated from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
- Minimum of 1-year Radiology experience
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of the special needs and behaviors of adult and older adult patients
- ARRT Registry in Computed Tomography
