Operate computerized tomography (CT) equipment to produce medical images for diagnostic purposes, preparing patients for scans, processing images, and maintaining patient records in a healthcare setting.
Responsibilities
- Use computerized tomography to take medical images of patients for diagnostic purposes
- Prepare patients for CT scans
- Operate CT equipment
- Process images for radiologists and physicians
- Handle patient records
- Potentially use other imaging equipment such as X-ray and MRI
Requirements
- At least 1 year of recent experience as a CT technologist
- ARRT Certification
- BLS Certification (AHA)
- Current state license (if applicable)
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of recent experience as a CT technologist
