About This Role

This role is for an experienced Surgical Technologist, offering premium compensation and flexible part-time assignments through FirstChoice, Trinity Health's mobile staffing solution to fill short and long-term needs across various health system locations.

Responsibilities

• Float throughout the hospital and/or multiple hospital locations and/or regions as needed
• Assess, identify outcomes/solutions, plan, implement, and evaluate professional practice standards
• Act independently and appropriately within the scope of knowledge and experience
• Maintain accountability for delegation, choices, decisions, and outcomes
• Collaborate with key stakeholders and contribute to quality and improvement practices
• Exhibit agility and willingness to take on new and additional responsibilities
• Embrace new ideas and cultural differences while managing competing priorities

Requirements

• Qualified and willing to float to various locations/regions
• Ability to complete orientation and training
• Cannot hold a concurrent position at a Trinity Health facility

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Associate or Bachelor’s degree program for Surgical Technologist
• Minimum of 18 months experience required for CST, or five years work experience if not a program graduate (due to on-the-job or military training)
