Assist with catheterization of the heart and other electrophysiology procedures as a Cath Lab Technologist, working in an operating room or similar healthcare facility. This role involves preparing equipment, assisting surgeons, monitoring patient vitals, and maintaining sterile conditions.
Responsibilities
- Assist with catheterization of the heart and other electrophysiology procedures
- Prepare equipment for procedures
- Assist surgeons during procedures
- Monitor patient vitals
- Help maintain sterile conditions during procedures
- Care for patients undergoing angioplasty, stent implantation, ablation, fluoroscopy or other procedures
Requirements
- At least 1 year of recent acute care experience as a cardiac cath lab technologist
- ARRT Certification
- BLS Certification (AHA)
- Current state license
