Transportation Project Engineer

About This Role

This role involves serving as a key member of a transportation team, contributing to public and private roadway and transportation projects. The engineer will be responsible for preparing construction documents and supporting the design and delivery of public infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare construction documents for roadway and related civil infrastructure projects
• Design roadway geometry, drainage systems, traffic control plans, cross-sections, and erosion/sediment control plans
• Support preparation of technical reports, specifications, and permitting submittals
• Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers on technical direction and quality control
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, field data, and survey information
• Maintain project documentation and assist with coordination of design revisions
