About This Role

Support transportation planning projects by conducting data and GIS analysis, community outreach, and preparing reports. This internship is part of a 9-week program offering professional development and hands-on experience in civil engineering.

Responsibilities

Support the Consor Denver transportation planning team on projects such as safety studies, corridor plans, and active transportation plans
Conduct geospatial analysis and develop map-based visualizations
Create and revise maps, charts, graphics, exhibits, and diagrams
Prepare exhibits and materials for community outreach events
Attend, support, and help facilitate community engagement events
Develop community surveys and synthesize survey results
Use Microsoft Office Suite to analyze data, prepare presentations, and contribute to written reports
Perform additional duties as needed, including compiling and digitizing meeting notes

Requirements

Currently enrolled in an ABET-accredited university pursuing a bachelor’s degree in urban or regional planning or a related field
Proficiency with ArcGIS
Proficiency with Adobe Suite
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
