Transaction Attorney, VP

About This Role

This Vice President-level role in the Legal Department provides counsel and oversight for structured finance transactions, including warehouse lending and securitization transactions, for ATLAS SP in the U.S. and overseas. The role also involves monitoring regulatory changes and managing transaction-related risks.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice and oversight to deal teams regarding ATLAS SP warehouse lending and securitization transactions in the U.S. and overseas, across various asset classes
• Stay current on the global regulatory landscape affecting the securitization market across various underlying asset classes and jurisdictions
• Provide advice and oversight on reputational, regulatory, and other risks impacting ATLAS SP structured finance transactions
• Support or lead development and execution of other Legal Department projects and initiatives in coordination with internal business teams and control functions

Requirements

• At least 5 years of progressive experience in structured finance and/or securitization transactions
• J.D. from accredited law school
• Licensed or qualified to practice law in the United States
• Ability to manage and execute transactions with minimal oversight
