As a Trainee Occupational Health Technician, you will perform a range of medical assessments and promote wellbeing initiatives for national clients. This role involves delivering safety-critical medicals and assisting with various health surveillance activities on client sites.
Responsibilities
- Undertake agreed clinical activities relevant to occupational health services, such as health surveillance
- Assist in undertaking a range of service items including Driver's medicals, Well Person medicals, and lung function tests
- Be accountable for delivery, recording, and reporting health outcomes
- Ensure the delivery of the highest possible standards of quality assured, evidence-based practice
- Work unsupervised at times both in the department and at other premises, delivering high standard OH services
- Be responsible for cleaning and stock checking clinical areas as per protocols and checklists
- Help promote the health and wellbeing of employees
Requirements
- Right to live and work in the UK
- Ability to drive a 3.5-tonne van
- Happy to travel and stay away if required
- Good interpersonal skills
- IT / PC skills
Qualifications
- Sports and Exercise Science or a similar field
