Trading Operations Analyst / Associate

About This Role

This role will support GSR's global digital asset trading infrastructure by ensuring smooth and accurate execution of trades across centralized and decentralized markets. The analyst will manage the full trade lifecycle, focusing on data integrity and operational accuracy while collaborating with various teams.

Responsibilities

• Support the full trade lifecycle including booking, confirmation, settlement, and reconciliation of digital asset transactions
• Monitor positions, balances, and exposures to ensure data integrity and operational accuracy
• Identify and resolve trade breaks, discrepancies, and margin issues efficiently
• Collaborate with Trading, Risk, Finance, and Technology teams to maintain smooth daily operations
• Oversee cash and collateral movements across exchanges and custodians
• Produce and interpret operational and risk reports to support decision-making and trading efficiency
• Assist with process documentation, workflow automation, and control improvement initiatives
• Build knowledge of crypto exchange infrastructure, DeFi protocols, and market structure

Requirements

• Demonstrated interest in cryptocurrency markets, blockchain technology, or trading systems
• Strong analytical and numerical ability
• Proficiency in Excel
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple time-sensitive tasks
• Clear communicator
• Flexible and willing to adjust to global trading environment needs, including weekend coverage

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related discipline
• Recent graduates with some relevant work experience

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Python, SQL, or similar analytical tools
