This role involves performing preventative maintenance, certified testing, correcting, and balancing specialized heating and cooling ventilation systems, specifically within large commercial areas and cleanroom environments.
Responsibilities
- Inspect and perform equipment repairs and replacements related to HVAC systems
- Perform certifications for fume hoods and bio-safety cabinets
- Measure and document both viable and non-viable particulates in cleanrooms
- Identify and troubleshoot various air handling systems, exhaust systems, ductwork, and fluid flow equipment associated with commercial and industrial HVAC applications
- Respond to emergency maintenance and service requests
- Review and analyze data for reporting
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
Requirements
- 2+ years of previous Test and Balance/Cleanroom experience
- Ability to understand HVAC systems and HVAC control systems
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and Visio
- Working knowledge of fume hoods and bio-safety cabinets
- Keen attention to detail
- Good organizational skills
- Excellent customer service and professional communication skills
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and excel in a fast-paced work environment
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent
- A minimum of 2 years of previous Test and Balance/ Cleanroom experience is required.
