This Terminal Operator position, also known as a Rover Operator, involves hands-on multi-cargo loading operations, ship-side support, line-up verification, and cargo transfer monitoring within a high-risk marine terminal environment. The role requires strong teamwork and communication skills to ensure strict operational discipline.
Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on multi cargo loading operations including LPG, Condensate, NAPHTHA, Jet A1, Gas oil, GTL products, Caustic, MEG and other refined products
- Support ship side operations such as berthing, ship readiness checks, and connection/disconnection of marine loading arms and flexible hoses
- Verify line up and monitor cargo transfer
- Conduct ship shore safety checks and communicate during loading
- Coordinate with senior operators, panel operators, shift supervisors, marine team, and maintenance crew
Requirements
- Bachelor’s/Diploma degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Marine, Subsea, Pipelines, Industrial, or Naval)
- Hands-on experience in multi cargo loading operations (LPG, Condensate, NAPHTHA, Jet A1, Gas oil, GTL products, Caustic, MEG, refined products)
- Practical experience in ship side operations (berthing support, ship readiness checks, connection/disconnection of marine loading arms and flexible hoses)
- Experience with line up verification and cargo transfer monitoring
- Knowledge of ship shore safety checks and communication during loading
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to follow strict operational discipline
- Fluent English speaking, reading, and writing
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Diploma degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Marine, Subsea, Pipelines, Industrial, or Naval)
- Practical experience in multi cargo loading operations and ship side operations.
